I took this photo in February this year, on a backpacking trip to southern Chile and Argentina. The photo shows a lagoon at the foot of a glacier called Vinciguerra, located in Ushuaia, Tierra del fuego. The lagoon had a beutiful esmerald color and we were able to walk around it until we reached the glacier. In short, the sociologist gave a theoretical framework to chilean feminism, through important works such as "Being politics in Chile" and "Feminaries". She was also the founder of the "Women's Study Centers" and then of "La morada" which sought to be a center for the provision of feminist thought and action. One of the things that I most admire about her is that she had a revolutionary spirit and created meet
